B-word Haircut

Hummer has informed me that "bad" is a word we're not allowed to say. Instead we say "b-word" (which in public, sounds worse! ha).

They say two weeks is enough to get used to a haircut. This one I couldn't stand when I first came home, and now it's even worse. Why, oh, why did I ever ask for bangs?

DC said this should be a gratitude post -- for how fast my hair grows and for how much I still have. :)

Jofus reminded me that it could be a lot worse -- this one is nowhere near as bad as Dallin's last haircut while on his mission. . . .

2008 01 Dallin's Mission 204

The hairdresser asked where he parted his hair. Dallin pointed, and then watched in horror as the guy took a razor and shaved it clean to the scalp! Oi, veh!

Hummer continues to crack me up! He's always coming up with new and interesting rules. Silly kid.

Dallin's haircut cracks me up. What was that hairdresser thinking??? Luckily his hair is short and will grow in fast....

Your hair doesn't look bad by any means, but I do like the "before" haircut better. That is one of the best pictures I've seen of you. You're gorgeous! =) (By the way, I also LOVE the picture of you on the "errand of angels site'...that's my favorite!)

I like your new haircut. But it is funny how we get use to one way or the other. I just tried to grow my bangs out, but gave up. I now have bangs again. Lashelle

You look beautiful! You may even get used to the bangs which are very cute btw. If not, they'll grow out. Love the pics!

If it makes you feel any better, I love the bangs. :) I think they look super good on you.

I like your bangs. Your haircut is definitely milder than Dallin's. If they are getting worse as they grow, maybe you should cut them shorter. Then they won't be in your way. Love the collage of expressions!

Thank you for the comments, you lovely friends and family!
Because of your positive feedback I realized maybe my haircut isn't as b-word as I thought, and I cancelled the appointment I had made to get it "fixed."
Ya'll make my day. Love,
Michelle
