Beckermagrutis and her Fluffy

May 6th to May 9th, my sweet sister Becky and her baby son were here visiting from Texas. It was a delightful, peaceful time. I especially loved seeing how my boys interacted with Baby Seth. They were so gentle and so sweet with him! I know they would have been outstanding big brothers for Baby Benjamin.

She caught a great video clip of Hummer tickling Seth (aka Fluffy the Younger), and posted it on her blog.

We visited Benjamin's grave that first evening they were here. Becky hadn't seen the gravemarker yet, and Seth had never been there (except in utero). Benjamin would be 2 months older than Seth if he were here. We had so looked forward to watching these two cousins grow up together! Seth has been a great comfort to me. I love holding him and talking to him about his cousin.

Aunt Becky is great at using humor to motivate her nephews to do what they're supposed to. I learned a lot from her while she was here, and had a great week even after she was gone, just trying some of her tactics. :)

I love you, Becky and Seth! I love you, too, Daniel! Thank you so much for letting your precious family come. They brought so much joy with them! Can't wait to have all three of you here soon. . . :)

Sweet post! I enjoyed seeing how Clyn, Russell and Hyrum treated Seth. They tried to show kindness to Ari too. Such good boys! BTW, how is the LOVE program going?

It is so nice to have family for visits. I am so excited to meet you in person. We keep missing each other at church. We will have to get together for a play date. We would love to have you over. Shoot me an email: cutiewithclippers@yahoo.com

That was fun reading about Becky's visit. I would love to hear about some of Becky's "humor tricks". Maybe they would work with Jackson. And make me laugh a little more as well :-) Lashelle

She just takes things light-heartedly! She would count seconds while they saw how fast they could get dressed. She would be silly with them, according to their mood. I think I had forgotten to enjoy them in normal daily life, and she helped remind me that not every moment is a serious deal.
