One of my dear friends at church noticed that I haven't posted in a while. (I've been suffering from severe writer's block, due to weird emotional stuff going on that I don't understand well enough to want to express. Long story short--I'm doing fine, really. . . .just beginning a new phase in the grief process where I prefer not to think much about things, but rather focus on mundane here-and-now).
Anyway!
This morning she sent me the sweetest email, offering her own words of appreciation as a guest blogger post for my 100 Days of Gratitude.
Thank you, Mary! Your loving words and creative act of service made my day!

"We are grateful that You and your DC and all the boys are in our ward and are our friends. We receive so much from them and sometimes we forget to say thank you. We are blessed every week by their beautiful music not only in Sacrament but also in Relief Society and sometimes in Primary and Young Women's also. We thank you for that, it is a great blessing to us all. There must be days when you don't feel like playing but you are a trooper and get up there and do it anyhow. We watch you run from one piano to the next all in the same hour and we are grateful not just because it is a body at the piano but because of your attitude, your enthusiasm is always there and the smile on your face when you play makes others happy as well. It is an inspiration to our whole family when you and your DC play duets for us. My kids actually pay attention when you two play and they get smiles on their faces and are truly blessed by it. Thank you so much for taking the time all those years ago to practice and learn how to play and for teaching your children now. It is a blessing to many."
Here's Mary with her beautiful grand-daughter. . . .
(whose name happens to be my maiden and first name switched! :)
I thank Thee, Heavenly Father, for Sisters who help me feel Thy love! I am so blessed to have them in my life!
